Speedfan working with asus p5k deluxe?

has anyone been able to control fan speeds with p5k deluxe?

I guess that you are asking for the p5b deluxe.

I have an p5b deluxe and it is possible to control Fan1, Fan2 and Fan3 with speedfan. Unfortunately these three fans are controlled at the same time and not separately ("speed04" of speedfan). Previously, you must to deactivate Q-fan from the bios in order to give the control to speedfan. A note, my cpu fan is also connected to one of these pins (fan1, fan2 or fan3) to be controlled by speedfan.

well, actually I was asking about p5k deluxe. But your reply is still helpful. I will have to check the bios to make sure that q-fan is disabled.

I can't get it to work at all with P5K-dlx.

Someone post up if they get it working, I need some fan control.

BIOS 0311, Q-Fan CPU and Chassis enabled.

SpeedFan 4.32:
Advanced - Winbond W83627DHG at $290 on ISA, PWM 1 mode = Manual PWM Control.
Speeds - Only Speed01 checked with Automatically variated checked.
Temperatures - Speed01 tied to only System.
Readings - Automatic fan speed checked.

Works for me. Controls CHA_Fan 1 through 3 (maybe 4?) all at the same time in tune with System temperature. Don't have the necessary PWM fan for the CPU, so I don't know about that one yet - still waiting to actually find one for sale.
