If you are considering a Q6600, shop for the G0 stepping that is scheduled for release around the time of next month's price drop.

Current TDP: 105watts
New Stepping: G0
New S-spec: SLACR
New TDP: 95watts
I guess this isn't new news but I just learned about it and had not seen it mentioned on here.
