This is the first time I've seen this thing.....it looks huge. That's apparently an 80x15mm fan on the thing. I only found that one photo.... :)

Here's another photo.....that may be a thin 100mm fan. Nice. Hope it goes retail.

that looks like a 120mm fan to me lolz. even if its --only-- 100mm, I still think it'll sell like hot cakes at a, erm, yeah. looks way leet. hopefully there will still be room to mount a ninja :-O

not impressed. already have a hard enough time making sure my NB heatsinks dont interfere with CPU and VGA heatsinks n such with "normal" zalman passive NB heatsinks, this will only complicate things worse. Its overkill anyhow. Theres no point.

Heck if you look at some of the newer Intel chipset boards, even the stock cooling makes this thing look small.

Well look at the thing this way......With the right MB with the correct chip placement, you could position this heatsink directly on on side of a Ninja (for instance). This would allow you to share the airflow of a single fan to efficiently cool both the CPU and NB.

Of course such a large NB cooler would only be necessary on a few hot setups. Nothing I own needs that much NB cooling.....but some setups might.
