Hi,

Im shifting my kit into a small case and need to convert to a uATX mother board for my socket 939 AMD 64 3800.

With socket 939 being so old im guessing some firm favourites emerged amongst the silent/quiet pc builders.

Other than the usual stuff eg ethernet, usb2.0, requirements are
PCI Express for graphics
Socket 939
uATX

Also it needs to be good for underclocking, undervoltage and anything else resulting in quiet.

Thanks for your help.

Have a look at the boards used here. I'm currently using a DFI RS482 Infinity, based on the ATI X200 (RS480) chipset. Quiet flexible, sometimes glitchy -- mostly because I use it too much as a software tryout vehicle, but there might be some real hardware issue. Not serious tho.
