Help with LVDS and DN2800MT

Hi all. I have a DN2800MT mother board and trying to get a HannStar 11' LVDS pannel working with it as the primary display. I must say I thought this would be as easy as 123 but it turned out to be quite daunting,

I got finally a LVDS cable made up and I'm pretty certain that it is right. It powers up the back light.
Now I'm not sure about the whole set-up in the BIOS and I'm not even sure what should happens when it is hooked up.

I have at present an LCD display connected to the VGA port on the board and the LCD frame less is hanging of the LVDS port. Now when I boot the bios screen comes up on the VGA port my LCD on the LVDS is light up but I can't see anything it simply stays black. I think the BIOS setup I have choosen is right but I'm not 100% non that.

Is there anyone out there who can help me with the setup of this LCD? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
