Hi, I am looking for some very low power consumption board. At least 1ghz processor, at least 2 ethernets(best intel)
I was thinking of this:
http://www.ibase.com.tw/2009/MB836.html
It is powered by 12-16V(what is ideal for me), but it has realtek ethernets, what is bad.

I couldn find anything similar. I was thinking of built some server from usual pc components, but I am affraid of reliability

What would be propably best is some supermicro board with picopsu. What do you think?
And what can you recommend?

What about SUPERMICRO MBD-X7SPA-HF-O Mini ITX Server Motherboard DDR2 667, comes with dual core atom D510 1.66ghz, has 6 sata ports, and dual intel nics (82574L), has a 16xPCIe (PCI Express x4) that you can use to add other cards like HBA or extra Nic, etc.

From intel? Single core atoms, like N230, i saw some in the past, but i dont see them in stock anymore, Supermicro Launches 4W and 8W Atom Server Solutions. If you accept the mobo not to be supermicro or server grade, then look into intel consumer grade mobos, Intel BOXD945GCLF Intel Atom processor 230 Intel 945GC Mini ITX Motherboard/CPU Combo, there is even a thread here on SPCR about it, link. There is also new atoms coming soon i believe with 32nm arch, but havent seen how they will be in power consumption, should be better.

I dont know why looking for the lowest, but remember that even the new SB cpu idle very low, my mini mi build idles at 14W, i think you might get an atom inside the 10W (with no perifiricals attached or many hdds), but idk if its wroth it, really depends on what you planning on using it for.

Intel also has a 20W TDP Xeon, Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1220L (3M Cache, 2.20 GHz), its expensive and not sure how low it could go compared to my i3 2100T, but should be similar imo, there are alot of supermicro mobos that you could try with that cpu.

You could also try laptops low voltage CPUs like Intel® Core™ i3-2357M Processor (3M Cache, 1.30 GHz), but this is entering a hard zone as cooler and mobos are very limited , JETWAY makes a couple of mobos that can use mobile cpus, JetWay JNF98-QM57-LF Socket G (PGA 988) Intel QM57 HDMI Mini ITX Intel Motherboard and JetWay JNC9B-HM67 Socket G2 (rPGA 988B) Intel HM67 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard, if you decide to go this route check if it supports the cpus you plan on using.

There is also a CPU coming soon, that might interest you, 1.2ghz dual core pentium, Intel Pentium 350 Processor has Sandy Bridge DNA

Check that thread: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=63383

The Supermicro's power consumption is probably very high for what is it.

The D945GCLF's power consumption is definitely very high for what it is.

What most people know about consumes a lot of power. So check that thread.

edit:
upcoming cheap dual-NIC Atom: http://www.intel.com/cd/products/servic ... 487670.htm
Intel will also make a similar board with DC input but it should have only one NIC like the D945GSEJT which currently has lowest confirmed power consumption among widely available, well-supported and affordable boards.
