I've been digging through 80plus.org trying to find high efficiency power supplies for my new build. It is a light gaming system that'll likely not need a ton of power. I'm thinking 350W supply would be fine. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

Hi,

My default PSU is the Fortron Source "Green" 300watt -- it is ~80% efficient, very quiet, and inexpensive:

I was looking at the SeaSonic S12 II SS-330GB 330W. Its a bit more efficient than both of the others posted. Any other ideas? Are there any supplies out there that are around 300W and have 85+% efficiency?

I would look at the OEM Seasonics - SS-350ET & SS-400-ET. They're not as quiet as the retail units, but they're the only 80Plus PSUs in their price range.

The 330GB is the same price as the 350ET on newegg atm with a $10 instant, and $10 mail in rebate.

I also found the Rosewill RG530-2. Average efficiency of 84.1% vs the 330GB's 82.7%. Looks to be the same price currently minus the 330GB's $10 MIR. Anyone have any info on the Rosewill?

Don't do it. It's a rebranded something or other. I would not trust a low-name brand to be honest or accurate with all the specs.
