I've been considering whether to do up my old P4 machine and give it to my brother as an HTPC or just get him a WDTV.
However, looking at the specs it doesn't seem like the WDTV (or the WDTV Live, which is what I'd get as it has a LAN port, which the WDTV doesn't) can handle 1080p@50 or 60hz, only 1080p@24hz, which seems like a major limitation that no-one appears to have mentioned in any of the threads I've seen where the WDTV has been suggested.
Am I missing something here?
