I was reading about cable companies pushing the FCC to let them encrypt the (currently Clear QAM) rebroadcast of local OTA stations. I don't have a STB or CableCard and really don't want one...but was wondering how much power these puppies draw. I know past generations of STBs were pretty inefficient pizza warmers - even when switched off but plugged in.

Anyone have a Kill-a-Watt meter care to take a look at power draw when off/idle/load?
