Intel Core i5 Desktop Processor Turbo Boost Frequencies

It took me a few moments to find this. I thought others would be interested in it also. It is in the order: base, 4C, 3C, 2C, 1C.

i5-2400 (95 watt part, Intel2000 gpu, All VT-stuff)
3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4 GHz

i5-2400S (65 watt part, Intel2000 gpu, All VT-stuff)
2.5, 2.6, 2.8, 3.2, 3.3 GHz

i5-2405S (65 watt part, Intel3000 gpu, has VT-x, no VT-d, no TXT)
2.5, 2.6, 2.8, 3.2, 3.3 GHz

i5-2500S (65 watt part, Intel2000 gpu, All VT-stuff)
2.7, 2.8, 3.2, 3.6, 3.7 GHz

With an over-clocking motherboard chipset, and normal or good cooling, you should also be able to push these non-unlocked chips up another 400 mhz at all workloads.

I wish we had more info about how they reacted to heat.

Could someone around do a test for us? Please install this and type back what it says in different situations. You could turn your AC off on a hot day while playing a video game, and see if the processor slows down. You could also turn off a case fan, or cover a case vent to increase the heat in your computer. (Please do not do this in a dumb way, break something and then try to blame me.)
