Would it be possible to get article publication dates listed in the section article indices? That is could this....
http://silentpcreview.com/section12.html

· SPCR's Unique Heatsink Testing Methodology (11720 Reads)
· Review: 4 Socket-A Heavyweight Heatsinks (51702 Reads)
· Review: Temp-controlled Coolers by Arctic Cooling & Spire (14193 Reads)
...etc.

Look something like this:

· SPCR's Unique Heatsink Testing Methodology 10-23-02(11720 Reads)
· Review: 4 Socket-A Heavyweight Heatsinks 10-25-02(51702 Reads)
· Review: Temp-controlled Coolers by Arctic Cooling & Spir 11-03-02
...etc.

Recommend making the date format international-friendly. Not everyone uses MM-DD-YY. Justin_R, would you be just as happy with only month and year? A 3-character month abbreviation? ie. Oct '04 or Mar 2004? Or does adding the day of the month help as well?

Aphonos-

International friendly is a good idea. I don't know if there's any way to get phpBB to handle that. (Probably not, since the articles aren't kept under the Forums. phpBB, of course, does do international dates in its posting times, etc.). I suppose the day of the month really isn't important, though, so "Oct 2003" or whatever would work.

Seems useful to me to have at least month and year (I agree the day isn't critical) so that one can judge the relative age of the article easily.
