I don't know if this has been discussed before but... why doesn't SPCR add high resolution pictures to the articles? That small picture is fine for reading the article (less bandwidth) but making it clickable and linking to a higher resolution image would be a lot better.

We read it.

It's done selectively, from time to time... but most photos don't warrant it. There are usually many photos, some very close up so you can see the details even in 500px wide images. We'll consider doing it more often but unlikely for it to be standard.
