I have an extra NT01v2.0. I have one of these in my NSK2400. I bought a second one to build an NSK1300/Aria with an external-PSU. It worked fine, but then I discovered the Akasa Evo120, which is pretty much the same as this design, except taller (more fins). The NT01 seems almost tailor-made for Antec’s NSK2400 / Fusion. Three caveats.

1) This included four little black rubber flat-washers (8.0 mm OD, 4.0 mm ID, 1.0 mm thickness), to provide some compliance for dimensional tolerances in the through-hole mounting stack-up. I pilfered them for use with the Akasa cooler, which didn’t have any. If you are careful to tighten down the four screws evenly, then I think you could mount this without the rubber washers. Or perhaps you’ll find replacement washers at your hardware store, or cut some from an old bicycle innertube etc. All other original parts are included here.

2) I first had this NT01 in my NSK2400. The fin-stack was not exactly vertical. The factory bends in the heatpipes were a degree or two shy of precisely 90 degrees. To keep it from touching the fan in my NSK2400 (which would prevent the cooler from sitting perfectly evenly on the CPU), I had to bend the heatpipes a few millimeters more. The temperatures seemed a little high, until I updated the bios. Certain early BIOS versions for my Asus P5B-vm mobo gave rather higher temp readings than later revisions. When I bought a second NT01, it was much closer to a 90 degree, so I put it in my NSK2400 to see if the temps would change (which might indicate my bending had degraded the heatpipes). The temps didn’t change, and I just left the second NT01 in my machine, and cleaned this one up for use in the Aria. 3) I cut away a few millimeters from the mounting backplate, to provide clearance for a through-hole lead on the backside of my motherboard. Obvious in the picture. This effectively eliminates a hole required for use with Athlon64, from what I can tell from the installation instructions (http://www.silverstonetek.com/downloads ... manual.jpg). Download and check that manual, to be sure this won’t cause grief for you. Basically, if you need 4 mounting screws, this’ll work fine. If you need 2 or 6 screws, this won’t work.

Cost $36 at NewEgg. I’ve just replaced all the computers in the house, and don’t expect to need any more CPU coolers for a while. So clear this one out of my closet, for the cost of the shipping plus, say, US$7. In the product box, it's 760 grams, so packed for shipping, probably a little over 2 lbs.
