Hey all, after baking a 4850, I've got it back from the dead but would like to cool it better before really using it. Rather than risking my 9600GT, I'd like to just get a second Accelero.

I'm taking any reasonable offers on this, Paypal preferred. I'm looking for good condition, with the cooler, the brackets for it, and the RAM sinks. VRM sinks and PCI vented slot are not important, and if it doesn't have the plastic parts on it, that's fine too, I'll probably take them off anyway.

zip code is 07960 for those who want to calculate shipping into it.

Hi, I've just installed and Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 along with AC Turbo Module fans on it and the GPU is idling at 42 and under full load at low 50s . I'm very happy with this result comparing to the poorly constructed stock cooler but I'm wondering if this is the best temp I can get with the Accelero S1? Anyone with better result that would like to share?...Real time chicago Real Estate listings!

Idle:
Case Open: 35C it took nearly 10 minutes with the case open for it to settle
Case Closed: 38C pretty much the same temp as it was when i did a cold boot after a few minutes.

Load:
Case Open: 48C it took about 7 minutes for it to reach this temp, but it wasn't bouncing.
Case Closed: 52C for a while i thought it would have stayed at 51, but 8 minutes in, it jumped up to 52 and sat there.

These were my temps for my ECS 9600GT 512mb with an Accelero S1 Rev 2 on it, all plastic covers removed from the cooler, as well as a 7v 92mm fan placed directly over the GPU core.

the ATI 4850 hasn't been tested for temps just yet in the same situation (i just swapped coolers in the end, no replies).
