Used Scythe Quiet Drives available

Post by nutball » Wed Aug 12, 2015 6:16 am

I some used Scythe Quiet Drive HDD enclosures available. It would be a shame to see them go into the rubbish bin, so I'm willing to give them away free-of-charge, so long as the recepient is willing to pay postage.

They are ~1kg when packaged, I am UK based.

I have:

- 6 x 3.5" enclosures which are complete (may be missing the screws for fixing the HDD to the internal aluminium case, but they are redundant)
- 1 x 3.5" enclosure which is missing one of the four silver mounting lugs (see here: http://www.quietpc.com/quietdrive)
- 1 x 2.5" enclosure (see the SPCR review http://www.silentpcreview.com/scythe-quietdrive2.5)

If this is of any interest please post a reply here.

My cousin is interested, he's getting a quote for the courier (do you have any ready quote?), I'll let you know asap.

Would he want all of them?

I'd probably send them by UK Royal Mail (www.royalmail.com), I did a quick price-up for shipping 1 within Europe it looked to be <£20. Shipping several in a single parcel probably wouldn't be much more than this.
