What is current status of the P150-Antec Neo HE 430?
I recently brought a P150 which included a S05 based 430 which did not power the system it's going to be used on.
So Is this still an issue or is this a case of old stock?
Has anyone been able to get this psu to work with board listed in the post.
For more info i posted here including where it was brought from. viewtopic.php?t=27863&start=300

So nvidia chipset users are out of luck wit this model power unit?JimX wrote:You wrote it yourself in the other thread:
I think the problem is fixed now, but do inform us if your RMA unit doesn't work. The P150 has 2005-12-20 stamped on the main board tray
My first generation Neo430 works with Intel chipsets, never worked with nVidia ones.
Well I will post back when the rma unit comes in.

But the board was not an asus. guess it has incompatibility issues with other makers as well.JimX wrote:So nvidia chipset users are out of luck wit this model power unit?
No, not necessarily, just my luck, and Asus boards. This incompatibility has been fixed on the next generation of both boards and PSUs.
In any case guess I will find out if it's been fixed when they ship the new unit.
On a side note: If anyone has a biostar t-force 6100 939, and you was able to use this power unit please post.
Two days ago I built a P150/Asus P5B-E system and so far it's working just fine. So with fresh stock (Newegg) the combination can work.
This is not to deny the problems that other folks have experienced previously. I'm just saying that with recently manufactured hardware it is not necessarily a horror show. (But I may replace the stock tricool case fan with a nexus to get a better balance of cool and quiet.)

Update.
I received a replacement case dated Jan 06, and was able to test the system with the neohe430 that was in it. The unit was a revA4 s0604XXXXXXX, and the system ran fine.
I had to put that power unit in the damaged case to be returned to the company though.
A new neohe 430 is on the way to replace the one that I had shipped to antec, and it should be here tomorrow.
So it seems this is a case of getting old stock.
