Please refer my comparison table between Q-Technology and Enhance
or visit http://www.qtechnology.net/site.html
and http://www.enhance.com.tw/enhancetw/enhancetw.htm

Q-Technology (Enhance) Watts PFC
ATX-1123B-QT (ATX-1123B) 230W No
ATX-1125BT-QT (ATX-1125BT ) 250W No
ATX-1125BTA-QT (ATX-1125BTA) 300W Passive
ENP-0730QT (ENP-073) 300W Passive
QT-02250 (ENH-0125 ) 250W Active
QT-02300 (ENH-0130 ) 300W Active
ENS-0240QT (ENS-0240) 400W Active
ENS-0246QT (ENS-0246) 460W Active

Also some flex model like ENP-0812A, ENP-0615B, ENP-0815P
Take a look at their web site then you will find that their specification was the same even the format

Please advice if you could find more OEM silent device that will save me big money!!

Does the Enhance PSU have the same quiet fan set up as the equivalent Q-Technology PSU ?

Specs of Q-Technology and Enhance are not the same!

 The Specifications of the Qtechnology PSU's and the Enhance PSU's are not the same.
The Qtechnology version has a diffrent board circuit and different fans. All to do to make the PSU more Silent and to distinguish these models the brand name Q-Technology was created.

My bad, my bad. The specifications of QT-023000 are the same as ENH-0130 not ENP-0730. High-end ENS-0240 and 0246 are totally the same. Check out my other posts for more examples. :)

Here is my update

Hey, silent pc members, here is my update. The purpose is clarification and to help us save some money on PSUs. Check out www.qtechnology.net and www.enhance.com.tw and compare the two. Remember that I mention Enhance is the manufacturer.

Once you done that, look here at my table:

Q-Tech Model = Enhance Model
ATX-1123B-QT = ATX-1123B
ATX-1125BT-QT = ATX-1125BT
ATX-1125BTA-QT = ATX-1125BTA
ENP-0730QT = ENP-0730
QT-02250 = ENH-0125
QT-02300 = ENH-0130
ENS-0240QT = ENS-0240
ENS-0246QT = ENS-0246

Ah, now that's interesting. I learned it from a friend that used to work for Enhance. So save yourself some bucks and get the PSU from Enhance. Both Enhance and Q-Tech PSUs work well, but perhaps the Enhance works better.

Now, since both are the same, and Q-Tech claims to be quieter. All of us silent pc enthusiasts know about techniques for quieting a PSU. If Enhance lowers the fan rotation for Q-Tech PSUs, then the result is a quieter one, but less efficient. The Q-Tech would get hotter, what I refer to as Unwise But Silent Fan Control. Check it out for yourself.

Not just fan speed

The Qtechnology models use different fans and a different circuit board then the Enhance models. So they are defenitely not the same![/quote]

What about the heatsinks themselves? They seem to be the important bit in how slow you can have you fans going.

Also a question to mvanderjagt, i had a look in my Q-Tech PSU, and there is a large HS and a smaller HS, the small one was very hot (~60*C) whereas the large one was quite cool (~30*C?). Maybe it was the particular demands i was putting on it, but maybe you could look at a rethink on the HS sizes?

PS: its a 300W model, not sure on model number, ill check when i get home...
