modding psu

Post by gehan » Wed Sep 18, 2002 1:38 am

i'm going to get the new Zalman or Seasonic 300w psu and mod it with a Panaflo fan, as per the recommendations here.

i'm in the uk and i'm basically wondering where the cheapest place to get the above would be? i don't think the new Zalman is here yet, but i can wait.

or is there another psu worth waiting for...?

finally, short of actually removing the fan, is there anything else i can do to silence the beast?

cheers

(wicked site btw)

Cheapest place: www.koolnquiet.co.uk
It sells the Seasonic OEM for less than anywhere else AFAIK.

Don't bother modding the Zalman. It's quiet enough as it is !!!
