Has anyone used this power supply? I can't seem to find any reviews, noise related or not, on this power supply. Is it older than their ZM300A-APF?

Yes, it is the older version of the ZM300A-APF PSU.

Regarding your actual question about noise, I don't know, maybe someone else can help out here?

Anyway, if you're considering buying this, don't, since you can buy the newer (and better) version. I also think the ST-300BLP is in short supply nowadays.

That one starts off quiet but has a thermistor control that speeds up the fan fairly rapidly. It is not in the same league as the new Zalman and the Seasonics.

I had a Zalman ST300BLP power supply a while ago. It was not loud but not quiet either. It has a connector you can measure the PSU fan speed with. The fan started at below 1000 rpm but gradually raised to just below 2000 rpm. I think it's pretty quiet for others than people on this site.

I agree with Old Dude, the 300BLP is not a patch on the ZM300A-APF, and i've had both! The ZM300A-APF is really impressive, something that Zalman can be really proud of!!
