Fortron Saga Series

Fortron released a new line of PSU's. They are called the "Saga" series. They have a 120mm fan, dual 12v rails, pci-express power connector, and a 24-pin ATX plug. The 24-pin plug has 4-pins that can be unclipped so it is compatible with 20-pin motherboards without requiring a converter cable.

I just ordered one. Newegg has the 400w version for $40 + shipping. I hope it isn't louder than the other Fortron 300w 120mm PSU I've used. I'll report back with my opinion when it gets here.

I used the AX400 in the build of a A64 system for a friend. Its a quality unit, very quiet by my standarcds. I did not do any sort of formal testing on it, but when I first plugged it in to test it I flipped the power switch on the back on and off several times bwefore looking at the fan and realizing i was infact on.
