According to the reviews at SPCR, the Nexus is the one of the quietest active PSU.

The problem is where do I buy it, cannot find it anywhere in the UK. Anyone found one in europe (must be in English) or in the UK please let me know.

Yes, I found it!

I ordered from them and my power supply arrived (to London, UK) after about six days.

The PSU is very quiet (though not silent) and most of the sound is quite low frequency and not a high pitched (which is less disturbing to me). In fact the sound of my hard drive seeking is now more of an annoyance than the PSU, so at some point I'm going to suspend the harddrive with elastic.

Also, for those in the States

http://www.siliconacoustics.com/ has the NX 3000. It may be my after Christmas present to myself. (Note, I haven't bought anything from them, so I can't comment on their quality as a retailer.)

Make sure you document your buying experince on www.resellerratings.com They don't have much of a presence there, so we need to help establish one, good or bad.

they also appear to be available at www.endpcnoise.com -- anyone had any experience with them? I'm new to this silent PC business but very interested. :)
