Sparkle PSU Question

Post by mkuo » Thu Jan 02, 2003 8:02 am

hi all,
i have a sparkle psu (FSP300-60BT) running with its stock fan (Yate Loon D808H-12). there's supposed to be some kind of noise killing feature, but even at startup, the psu is running very loud. i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of quieting it down but keeping it safe to run.
thanks

like most of the other post in 'power supply' section, best way to reduce noise is to replace with lower noise fan like the panaflo (fba08a12l1a) and maybe 5v or 7v it; and cut of the stamped grill and replace with a proper wire grill to reduce airflow contention...
