Higher Frequency Power Supplies?

Post by larrymoencurly » Wed Feb 05, 2003 2:55 am

Are there any ATX PSUs that operate at higher than the usual 60 KHz, to make audible subharmonics less likely?

The highest I've found for anything that I can buy easily is 70 KHz, for something using an sg6105 chip, and the highet I've found ever is 96 KHz.

Larrymoencurly,

Just so you know, I deleted your double posting.

I never knew that choosing by switching freq. was even a consideration...hmmm.

Thanks,
