I have a Phantom myself and measured the cables when I got it... Let me find my notes... OK! The main ATX cable is about 21 inches... (no more than 22 inches if you add the connector)

21" thats about 50-55 cm i guess then. 25 cm inside and 25cm outside the case.
should be long enough to use externally.
and even if its not i can always make the cables longer :)
too bad theyre not sleeved :(

21" is 53.34cm... Google is so useful... :)

By the way, my Phantom is also ouside the case. It was easy to do because all the cables had to be connected at the top of the case... (the HDD is inside a heatpipe cooler in a 5.25" bay)

Will the new sonata 2 be sold with a fanless PSU ?
Or do you think I can go ahead and buy the fanless PSU today :?:

Okey. Then I'll be going to buy the Silverstone ST30NF.
Although you ratet the Phantom 350 higher, I checked with webshops and the only thing available is the Silverstone. :?

Thank you for testing these PSU! Please keep up the good work.
