PSU for micro/mini- itx

Post by MistaMuShu » Sat Apr 12, 2003 7:25 pm

I'm sorry if this has already been posted, but when I searched on google, I had a very tough time finding a PSU that would work for a tiny PC like those mini VIAs and fit in one of those tiny cube cases.

So has anyone found a mini/micro PSU that's quiet? I'd imagine I wouldn't need more than 230 watt

I'm not sure how "tiny" you mean, but mini-box has the smallest power supply that I know of. It's a 60w fanless power supply that attaches directly to a mini-itx motherboard.

But if you really need all that power, there are a lot of links on this page that may be useful:

Hope this helps.

The Seasonic micro-ATX psu used in the Breadbox PC is extremely quiet and puts out 200W.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm very interested in the 60w fanless power supply, but I'm going to do a bit more research to figure whether I need more power or not. And I just love how the breadbox looks. I bet it makes for a great conversation piece too!

Thanks again.
