I'm getting a parts list together for a new HTPC.
I'm going low power.
2-3 HDD
1 dvd burner
2-4GB ram
maybe a blu-ray drive in the future.
1 TV capture card
I'm hoping for a mobo with audio and video integrated.
maybe an amd 780G, nvidia 8200 or intel G45 when they comeout.

I'd loved seasonic power supply's in the past.
I really want a modular design. I'm thinking 300-350watts will be more than enough.

I'd like it to be less than $80.

anyone have any recommendations?

take care,
Seth

Its a bit more power than you spec'd but I am running my HTPC with an Antec NeoHE 380. My system consists of an Intel E6600 on a Gigabyte P35-DS3L, 2GB RAM, 2 500GB drives, Samsung DVD-ROM, Samsung DVD burner, Hauppauge TV capture card, and a Sparkle 8800GT. I have a couple of Scythe Slipstreams undervolted to 7 volts cooling it all in a Cooler Master RC-282 case

I am not a big fan of Antec, but this hand me down power supply has not let me down.

On a side note Newegg has the PSU for $69.99 with $50 MIR and free shipping.

thanks! I'll check it out.
I'm actually thinking about trying to reuse my current powersupply after finding out you can usually power on a 24pin board with a 20pin connector :)

it's not modular but may save me some money.
