Enermax power supplies

Post by static » Fri May 23, 2003 12:04 pm

I currently have an Enermax 431w power supply that I've been using for about two years already. I read the article on how to mod the fans on this power supply. Are the fans on most Enermax power supplies connected to a 2 or 3 pin header to the power supply or are they soldered on? I was thinking about replacing the Globe fan with a Panaflo L1A and the 92mm fan with a Papst 3412NGL. Would this drop the noise significantly? I noticed in the article that the 92mm was completely removed. Or should I just buy a new supply like that Nexus NX-3000?
