Don't buy it!

It is not noiseless, you can hear it. Not the fans but the bad qualitiy (transistors or s.th.) :?

I bought it and I am not happy with it, so I'll send it back. The one from http://www.deltatronic.info (german) shall be better I've heard. But you'll get problems with the heat of your case and CPU.

Do you mean "proSilence PCS-350"? I've got one - no single problem, no noise at all...

I have one too. No problems at all, completely silent. Very, very pleased with it. After using it for a little while now, I can't believe any silent PC folks wouldn't be extremely happy with this fanless PSU. It's not ugly either, unless you wanted flowers painted on it or something.

i saw one of those at silicon acustics. It looks tempting but it's expensive.

What's wrong with it? What kind of noise did you hear?
Do you have for example Seagate Barracuda HDD installed on the same computer? If Yes, then that might be the problem but the cure is known - ferrite rings. This may happen with any PSU.

Can I ask what system you guys are using with this psu? I have an XP2100 and Radeon 9500pro at the moment, and before I replace the radeon fan, I was hoping to replace the psu with one of these, as mine is far and away the weakest link in the pc.

Seeing as kustompc will be stocking these soon, I could buy in the uk, and money isn't a problem. Will it be ok with a fairly high powered system? Would it stand up to a cpu upgrade or overclock?

My system is: P4 2.4G not overclocked, Intel 865PEBT2, 512MB RAM, 2 HDD Seagate Barracuda IV, DVD-ROM, Matrox G550, SkyStar1 SAT-TV card. That's it.

Well you're running more than me in everything, except my graphics card probably gives off a little more heat. How many case fans are you running?

Any news on the "upcoming" new 400W model ProSilence PCS-series PSU I keep hearing about? Will it offer any more watts (3.3+5V combined) than the 350 W model?

Thanks, Serge! Yep, I found that thread myself after posting my "where is it?" question. I was chuckling again at the huge magnet the guy used. WIth 4 of those I'd have to get a full size case<g>.
