Hi
I finally got my pc torn down again to see exactly what psu I have and I don't right now have the $ to buy a new Antec.
I have a premier 300w p4 ready, what it says on the side and was wondering if they are total crap or if I can modify the one output fan to a panflo and maybe run it at 5 or 7v or at 12v if it is silent enuff for me?
Any tips or crits appreciated!

I'm going with my gut here (and the fact that these PSU come in $25 cases) and say generic piece of crap.
If you don't have the money for an Antec - there are other options- like the much discussed Fortron PSU - only about $30 shipped

Yeah - that is definately a no-name brand and more likely in the traditional PoS category. See if it looks like the pic
in larrymoencurly's post here - if so you know it is actually Deer. (And as per my port there you can see I am contrary on the argument about current Deer's being PoS - is that a stinky heap good for nothing or potentially perfect fertilizer??!
Also - any other model number like stuff on your psu?

There you go - use it as an educational implement.
Just be careful - PSU's can hurt!
