"brick" type PSUs

Post by Maranello » Thu Mar 31, 2011 7:43 am

I'm currently running an Intel D945GCLF. I purchased it from a second hand to get a taste for the low power system. Other than a little sluggishness (oddly much more so in XP than Ubuntu 10.10) I'm very happy and have started planning an AMD Zacate build. I'm going to continue using this board as my secondary system though and I'm looking into the "brick" type PSUs to replace the one currently in the case to free up some space. The case is the Apex Mini ITX found here..

It was part of the board purchase so it's a slightly older version. I know about Mini-box and Logic Supply and their offerings. Newegg also has a 60W (85w max) unit from nMediaPC here...

I was wondering if there were any other's I should look into?

Also, as for the bricks, is there any place I could be looking? I know Amazon has a few like this Kinamax 72W...

Is there anything I should be aware of? Thank you.
