Look at these sites above. Both are reviews from this month. The ripple is very, very low in comparsion with SCPR's test:

Looks like Nexus has changed some things in this PSU.
Is it possible for SPCR to get a new unit and re-measure the ripple? These low ripples are great for pc-audio.

I own a Nexus Value 430W. It's a nice unit but over time it has developed a harmonic that sometimes comes and sometimes goes.

I notice that it used to on the SPCR list of recommended PSUs and the last time I checked it was not there any more.

what kind of harmonic?

The fan in my Nexus Value 430 has developed a very loud 'ticking noise'. It started with an almost inaudible, intermittent, whisper that progressively got more and more loud. Now it's like someone is continuously ticking with a ballpoint onto a metal desk.

I assume the bearings are gone in the fan of this PSU. Not a testament to its reliability, as the unit is just over 2 years old. I've informed Nexus about the issue and am awaiting their response. Will keep the thread updated on this.

update:
the fan was touching the fan guard. Maybe the clearance was too small? I only was able to fix it by removing the fan guard in its entirety.
