Lian li are bundling a 300W SFX PSU with a few of their latest range of mini ITX cases. I suppose it makes sense for some of the case designs, but mostly I'm against using these PSUs as they're neither silent or power efficient (90W-150W picoPSU & power brick seems better fit for a lot of non-gaming contemporary systems)
As for the noise on the Lian Li SFX PSU, has anyone seen a review or real measure of this? Someone on another forum says the PSUs are "quiet" but the fan is always on. Can anyone say what size fan it is? or the RPM range?
Lian Li 300W SFX PSU noise? fan size & RPM range?

Why would a brick be more efficient than a normal PSU?IanM wrote:I suppose it makes sense for some of the case designs, but mostly I'm against using these PSUs as they're neither silent or power efficient (90W-150W picoPSU & power brick seems better fit for a lot of non-gaming contemporary systems)
