I'm doing a new build but I have some doubts about the correct orientation of the Seasonic X-750 in an Obsidian 550D case, which has the typical positioning of the PSU in the bottom with the grill for sucking in.
The stickers on the PSU are a bit strange: some upside down, some not.
The manual seems to not cover this thing, so the question is:
is it ok to mount the PSU in the typical "modern" position with the fan sucking from the bottom?
UPDATE:
the manual says that "depending on the type of computer case, correct mounting of the PSU will result with the fan side top cover facing the mobo."
Isn't this a bit strange?

In old times: PSU at the top, sucking in air from Mobo/CPU area and exhausting to back.
Modern times: PSU at the bottom, sucking in fresh cool air from outside and exhausting to the back.
You could mount the PSU in the bottom with the fan facing up, thus sucking air from inside the case, but this will probably have no influence in case temps.
It will nonetheless influence PSU noise. Because in theory the PSU is using pre heated air (from inside the case) to cool it self, resulting in higher fan rpm for the same electrical output compared to a unit sucking in fresh cool air from outside of the case.
So: Bottom mount, fan facing down. Top mount: fan still facing down.
