Anyone done it? Its so big that I will struggle to suspend it in my cage!
What sort of elastic did you use and how did you go about it? - pic if possible
Thanks!
Suspend a Scythe Silent Drive?

I suspended my Scythe silent drive in P180's lower cage using some leftover automotive silicone tubing and the P180's drive rails. Basically sandwiched the silicone tubing between the drive rails and the silent drive enclosure, looped the tubing thru holes above the lower drive cage and tied a dead knot. It isn't the most visually appealing solution but it works great - my Seagate 7200.10's are virtually silent now.
I'll bump this thread with a specific quiet drive question.
The inner aluminium 'box' that's closest to the harddrive. Is there any possibilities to mount the harddrive soft in it?
With some rubber rings or something else?
Or will this just prevent the 'system' to work properly?
If possible this would be soft mounting the hdd in the soft mounted Scythe.
