Hi,

just ran into this PCworld article about a new kind of storage device:

Basically it seems to be a crossover between a HDD and a floppy... Hmm, makes me wonder and want to ask: Sir, can you BOOT from that? ;)

Might be mighty good news if the pricing is on the level mentioned. Well, we will just have to wait and see...

They'll probably be pretty expencive at first .. though they do sound pretty interesting! Quite a lot of my pc's *Really* don't need 7200rpm 80gig harddisks! And no one seems to sell smaller harddisks, so one of these would be nice :).

You got that right. I'm getting pretty tired of carrying a harddisk around whenever I need to exchange some data :-D.

I want I want I want. I really really hope these things work out well. What an amazing and excellent system. Thanks for the tip manalainen. I seldom see something this exciting in new computer tech, my head is reeling.
