daedalus,

So I guess you accepted that you had a pretty normal Cuda V, and possibly concluded that the Cuda V accoustics aren't as great as they are made out to be. Or am I being a bit harsh on the new Cuda ?

Well, the idle was super quiet.. but the seeks were no quieter than any other drive I've turned AAM on with.
