Should I return my 80Gb cuda 7200.7 for a 80Gb cuda IV?

Hi,
Recently ordered a 80gb cuda IV and got sent a 80gb cuda 7200.7 instead, spoke with the supplier and they will either let me keep the current drive or replace it for a cuda IV.
The 7200.7 seems pretty good, it quiet, but not as quiet as I was hoping for, plus it's making a ticking noise on idle. Should I return it, will I notice any difference in real world performance, and will the trade off in speed be worth the noise reduction I get?
So far I've come from a Maxtor raid 0 (quick but far too loud), gonna swap all case fans for Panaflows, will also swap out my enermax fans for Panaflows (where can I buy them cheap in the Uk?), and that will just leave a passive Zalman for my 9700 Pro. Hopefully then I'll have a fast and quiet PC, that's the plan at least, although I'm finding out as you reduce the noise in one component it just makes the others sound louder!
