I'm disappointed to find out that Seagate is no longer offering Acoustic Management for their newer products. I've been considering using a Seagate SATA drive and am wondering if putting it in the smart drive enclosure will quiet enough to be liveable, and if it the temperature of the drive will rise too much in the enclosure?

Anyone out there already using this combination? How well does it work?

my 7200.7 is very quiet
its suspened tho
buy the drive then the smart drive if needed
the seagate drives are worth the money for quiet
