Soft Mount HD in Antec Sonata Elite Case

Post by rana » Sun Jun 14, 2009 12:57 am

I want to soft/elastic mount a standard desktop SATA HD inside an Antec Sonata Elite case. This case has 4 semi-soft rubber grommets for each HD that attach the the HD screws to the vertical rail mounts, to limit direct vibration transmission to the case. Here is what it looks like:

I've found the built-in semi-soft mounts are decent, but the HD is still noisy when seeking compared to my old case with elastic mounting. Can anyone share pictures or methods they have successfully used to soft-mount a HD inside this case? I haven't come up with anything that is both easy and stable.
