Currently I am using 2 x WD20EARS externally in enclosures for backup/archiving purposes to prevent premature wearing of the drive due to constant use (head parking and all) and need a different drive for music and videos in my PC (since they will be accessed fairly frequently). Should I avoid green drives and stick to 7200rpm drives? I was planning on getting a SSD or a Velociraptor for the system drive. Doesn't need to be HUGE as I generally offload any old videos/movies to the backups/archives after around a month and my music takes up around 120GB, so a ~1TB drive should be plenty.
