Not a lot said about acoustics, but looks like a good drive overall including impressive power consumption.

This is an interesting drive for me. I could use a 4TB drive like this. I have an Hitachi HDS5C030ALA and it's very quite. You can hear a little spindle sound, but it is not unpleasant. And the seek noise is virtually inaudible. I'm very happy with the acoustics of this drive.
Hopefully this 5K4000 has comparable acoustic properties.
