It looks like the consensus is that the Thermaltake 90c and the Scythe Ninja are better heatsinks than the 9500, but I'm wondering about the effect of cooling the RAM.
I have an Asus A8N-SLI Premium mounted in a P180 case. In my configuration, the CPU is mounted between the RAM and the fans at the back of the case.
It seems like the 9500 would be ideal because the heat off the RAM could be directed through the 9500 to the rear case fans.
Would the Ninja or 90c work just as well in keeping the RAM cool?
Zalman 9500 good choice for cooling RAM in P180?

I took a look at the mobo image at Newegg, and those RAMs are spread out - lotsa natural cooling space there. I can't imagine that RAM cooling would be an issue on that board. BTW it's "Thermalright XP-90C.walkman wrote:It looks like the consensus is that the Thermaltake 90c and the Scythe Ninja are better heatsinks than the 9500, but I'm wondering about the effect of cooling the RAM.
