Will the CNPS7000B-ALCU fit in my A7N8X?

Will the CNPS7000B-ALCU fit in here?
I have an Asus A7N8X and according to Zalman (http://zalman.co.kr/product/cooler/7000 ... st_eng.htm), the heatsink should fit given it clears the powersupply unit (there's 55mm from the center of the CPU.

Check out the pictures... it looks very tight

The oft asked question (wasn't there a thread about a week ago?)

I have one in a Sonata on a A7N8X-E Dlx - close, but it does fit.

I don't recall off the top of my head the difference between a 7000A and 7000B, but I've got an A7N8X with an CNPS-7000A-Cu and it fits just fine, unless you know of any oddities with your PSU placement.

the power supply is the only component i'm worried about, not the motherboard. As stated above I have an Antec 660AMG Plus.
According to the pictures it looks as if 5mm more would be needed to be comfortable. Could I hardbrush/sand the edge of the heatsink a little to make it fit?

hi all

I have an A7N8x-DLX 1.04 with 7000A-AlCu as well.

I swapped the default northbridge hs with a coolermaster passive hs. The 7000A makes contact with the nb sink and i'm not sure whether it's preventing the 7000a from making proper contact with the barton core.

my load temp seems kinda high, 60C BurnK7 with 2GHz 1.6v Barton.

or maybe it's the tropical climate where I live in? :?
