I am quite annoyed at something regarding the mobo and CPU i decided 2 buy and have 'em already now (Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe Rev. 1.01 + Athlon 2600+ Barton core working @ 11.5*333*1.65 with stepping: AQYFA 0410UPKW + stock heatsink and fan)
It's coz of the fact that i have lots and lots of terrible hot summer days in my country. I really want 2 get rid of a good quantity of heat by lowering the Vcore setting a bit from 1.65V down 2 something like 1.55V (p.S. Asus will overvolt the 1.55V to something like 1.6V) but i am not allowed 2 do that in the bios for unkown reasons. After doing some research on the net on that, i discovered that there are some *Good* boards which accepts the excat Vcore i enter 2 it and some other mobos do not. That is a quite teasing thing 2 me coz although i have invested days and nights researching on the net 4 the pros and cons of my Mobo till i finally decided 2 buy it, it never came into my sight and even my mind that the bios would prevent me from choosing my desired Vcore and also i missed 2 read about that stupid "Overvolt" feature which is useless except that it helps generate more and more heat 2 a CPU which is already hot.
What i need 2 know is: how can i choose my desired vcore ?
p.S. I wish i can be able 2 return that board and replace it with any of the mobos listed on this page: http://www.silentpcreview.com/article69-page1.html
but it's not possible at all 4 me. *MAD* so plz help me with any tricks/software utilites which can me my wish come true.
THANKs 4 ALL
