Anyone got a feedback on this one please ?
it's just too bad it doesn't fit 80mm fans...

Hmmm, I wonder if you could shoehorn a 120mm fan on there with half of the fan overhanging the edge of the HS. Or you could construct a shroud to guide air over the fins from a larger fan much like a water cooling rad.

Its too bad that it isn't desined for larger fans but with aluminium fins to keep the weight down. Other such coolers have shown that there is little to no advantage in having copper fins in this type of heatsink and the extra surface area could probably increase performance.

Anyway it looks like a new product so it'll take a while for some reviews to filter in.

Hummmm intresting....

A shroud on it to funnel the air through the PSU (aka using it's fan) should be intresting.
(If your using a 120mm that is)

:D

Nice cooler but dual 60mm's (or maybe quad if you want a push-pull arrangement)? They need to work on that "silent computing" thingy a bit more :)

Duct it to a 120mm and this could be a nice setup.

Cooling System 2 x 60mm (optional with included shroud)
Unless you plan on running this with a sufficiently low-wattage CPU to use it passively, those two 60mm fans are going to be a noise problem.

It's not clear to me how this thing is supposed to mount, and the link to the installation manual is broken for me. :(

Does the "radiator" mount on the back of the case, traditionally where the exhaust fan lives (seems most logical), or could you mount it up against the PSU bottom vent fan?

Nice to see more innovation with new coolers though.

If you look at it carefuly you'll se that the dimensions for the heatsink is 120x60mm (the fans are side-by-side), which means that you can put a 120mm fan on it (and maybe if you have 2 mobos 1 fan for 2 heatsinks, although it would be impractical to set up...)

why oh why didn't they double the height of the 'sink so that is was 120mm x 120mm.

i bet that sucker would cool GREAT with next to NO noise (one fan for both CPU and exhaust....just like a dell without the rest of the crap that comes with it)...

It looks like this heatsink would fit perfectly for the Silverstone HTPC cases.

you'd have to get the right mobo. Something like the P4P800-E Deluxe maybe.

I tell you, I ended up going with the XP-120 on the last system I built and was very impressed with it.

I doubt this by Silverstone would work nearly as well on a high powered CPU.

I bet this would work well with anatech 4000 8)
