Aerocool GT-1000 CPU cooler (all sockets)

Post by Tibors » Sat Mar 26, 2005 11:54 am

Aerocool keeps making variations on the HT-101. The newest one is called GT-1000. This one can take 92mm fans in stead of 80mm ones. It fits on all current sockets. Even on socket A, but if yo want to hang 790g from two socket clips......

Some frenchmen reviewed it. (There is a babelfish link at the start of the article.)
But there is only a direct comparison to an intel stock cooler.

With the price just over €50 this is not a cheap cooler. But hey, it is gold plated

Looks very interesting, if You are into the uprigtht-standing (as opposed to the thermalrights) heatpipe coolers. I will have to wait for an assembly instruction to see which way it will be fitted on my Abit Ic7-G (want to blow the air out of the case, not into the psu).

I hope they make a GT-1000jr, except without the fins more densely packed this time.
