Will the Ninja fit in my Silverstone LC17 case?

Post by markrb » Fri Apr 14, 2006 7:08 pm

If I place a 120mm fan on the top of a PCI card slot the fan will fit in the case, but without much room.

The case has about 1 inch of room from the top of a standard sized AGP video card.

Without removing the stock AMD 64 3200 cooler what else can I use as a reference if what I have said is not enough?

Now the big question. Will it fit?

Thanks,
Mark

Doesn't sound like it.

The ninja is 150mm tall. That's about 1.25" higher than a 120mm fan.

You'd need at least 2.5" from the top of your AGP card.

The short answer is no.

the long answer is I did have a look and took measurements from the socket to the top of the case, and compared it with the ninja specs. Basically it's too tall by about 2cm (didn't have the ninja physically to check, assuming the website specs are correct)

Ok Thanks. Will look into others.

Did you ever look into the AeroCool GT-1000 92mm?

I think that is 130MM tall.

I just need something quiet that will fit.
I am not going to overclock and none of the 120MM standard setups will fit.

Thanks,
Mark

Started a new thread that was less specific, but that is the one I am looking at now.

Thanks,
