I'm just curious if anyone has tried putting a different fan on the (noise control) silverado cooler. I've become too picky recently and its noise got to me.
The heat sink seems to be of really high quality, it looks like a 60-mm fan might fit right on it.

Or you could use a fan adapter and use a 80mm fan.
some DIY:ing would do the trick too, I suppose.

try a 92mm fan running at 5volt. it blows almost the same volume as a 60mm @12volt

And I could use duct tape to make a nice duct from the 92mm fan to the heat sink
