That was NOT measured at the standard 1 meter distance. it IS quiet.

Hello:

It may be quiet, but apparently it is not a very effective cooler -- they don't recommend it for a Thunderbird; only Durons. Now, Palominos and Tbred's and Bartons (well most of 'em) are cooler than the hottest Tbird, but this HS is not the best for hotter CPU's.

Has anybody seen or used a SVC GC69?

Use the stock fan at 5 or 7 volts or try this fan:

and get a quiet, inexpensive and quite effective HS. The main thing I don't know about with the GC69 is how smooth and how flat it's bottom is -- my GC68 needed a fair amount of help. Maybe for the $10 (vs the $5 I paid) they might get it better?
