Hi guys,
I have a question about the Ninja Mini CPU heatsink. To the owners, do you just use the Ninja mini without the cooling fan? Or have you mounted the supplied cooling fan on the ninja mini?
I just would like to know if my AMD 780G + AMD 4850e system in an Antec 2480B case would be running ok with the Ninja mini w/o the cooling fan.
How much improvement do you get though when mounting the cooling fan on the Ninja mini?
Ninja mini without the cooling fan?

I've got pretty much that exact set up in my 2480-based HTPC (see my sig). I've had no problems with my system running my Ninja Mini on a 4850e passively even with a passive 3450 and only one exhaust fan that is probably running around 500-600rpm.
I've put a Thermalright HR-05 on my northbridge to help cooling that, which gets quite hot with a stock cooler. It probably wasn't necessary but I figured it couldn't hurt.
I never really tried mounting the Mini's default fan. It is quite loud at 12V but reasonably quiet when undervolted. I had a Nexus 80mm fan handy which I tried, but I can't remember what improvement I got.
Feel free to post any more questions you may have or PM them to me if you want!

The Ninja Mini looks like it was actually made to run fanless in that case. Here is the relevant part of SPCR's review: http://www.silentpcreview.com/article754-page5.html
